Gold markets experienced notable fluctuations, with global prices rising to levels close to $5,000 per ounce, supported by safe-haven demand amid geopolitical risks, while U.S. monetary policy data restrained stronger gains. Locally, gold prices saw a slight increase in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Iraq, whereas Egypt experienced a modest decline in the price per gram due to fluctuations in the local currency exchange rate against the dollar, reflecting the impact of both global and local factors on today’s gold movements.
