The US Dollar Index is trading below the resistance area of 108, and it is likely that the prices will move within a range between the aforementioned resistance area and the support area at 105.5.

The US Dollar Index (DXY) experienced mixed movements today, starting the session with a slight uptick supported by expectations of tighter monetary policy by the Federal Reserve. However, it later faced selling pressure as risk appetite improved in the markets.

The influencing factors included mixed US economic data, with employment figures showing relative strength, while manufacturing indicators came in weaker than expected. Technically, the index faces resistance at the 108 level, while the 105.50 level serves as a key support, which may determine its direction in the upcoming sessions.
